Callum Clark recently travelled to London's RAC Club to proudly present Connage Cheeses to His Royal Highness The Duke of Rothesay and top London Chefs as part of an promotional event organised by The North Highlands Initiaitve, first launched by the Duke in 2005.
Hairy Bikers 'Best of British' has been a big success with viewers and the great news is if you missed their visit to Connage as part of their celebration of Cheese you can see a repeat on BBC2 at 7pm on the 31st January 2012.
Scotland on Sunday chose our own Jill Clark to feature in their "in person" section of their magazine supplement.
We were chuffed to bits to have Si and Dave visit us last week. The Hairy Bikers are in search of the "Best of British" cuisine for their new series which starts on the 14th November BBC2 and came to make our famous crowdie with Callum. As many of you know, Crowdie has been made by households in Scotland for hundreds of years. The bikers were keen to learn about our modern crowdie production process. The bikers said "If you want to find out about Britain’s past, take a look at what we eat now and join us as we meet some of our nation's food heroes, who keep our gourmet heritage alive.” The Connage team thoroughly enjoyed their visit and look forward to their new series.
